We can provided training and help with the theory test. We can offer one to one tuition and help with the hazard perception test. We may be able to help you with training materials.
A typical days training would begin at 8.30am on a Monday and finishes at 3.30pm.
Training is always delivered to the highest standard and tailored to the individuals needs.
The training in each course is basically the same, with some exceptions. "+E" courses will include trailer coupling exercises. D courses will include training regarding bus stops and passenger door operation.
On your first day of training you will get a feel for the vehicle. You will be taught the basics such as approach speeds, how to use the gears, operate the controls and move off safely. Your training will then follow a natural progression on a day to day basis in and around the Kilmarnock area.
Those taking a test with a trailer will normally begin the reversing, braking and coupling exercises on day one.
The DSA have implemented "show me / tell me" questions into the practical test. These will be instructed to you during your course.
